    Nero 6.6 does not support vista/server 2008 😉
I think version 7+ should be fine.

If i remember correctly the codecs were not included with WMP, but if you install some codec package like K-Lite Codec Pack for example wmp plays the movies quite well.

Maybe someone can help you – the only checkbox i can think of right now is ‘require ssl protocol’ or something like that, but it doesnt prevent the popup from showing, i think..

Thanks, i might use the widescreen one 🙂

It depends on the hardware for example it didnt had drivers for my 2900pro ati video card and my asus p5k-se motherboard, not to mention that the drivers included in the windows itself are probably buggy and outdated.

I have the 32bit version of 2008 and it doesnt work just like Arris said..

3-4fps cant be a real difference, in fact it can be related to simple things like default driver settings being different on server 2008 and vista, or application priority which is given to the applications in vista instead of background services in server 2008.Not to mention SuperFetch etc.
All that can be changed ofcourse..

Unfortunately there is a small problem with the wireless tweak in the current version of the server 2008 converter which is fixed in the version that is going to be released soon, so in the meantime you can use this command to enable the wireless networking:
Go to run (the windows button+r) and then type cmd
then type the following command in the command prompt:
    ServerManagerCmd.exe -install Wireless-Networking
And dont use vista cracks, because they will break the server manager and many other windows server features.

If your not using the Vista x64 drivers then which ones did you installed? Do you have x64 Server 2008 drivers for everything?

If your talking about BR Movie discs, this can be related to the fact that Server 2008 doesnt have DRM, but im not really sure if this is the cause.

Maybe you should try one more time and see if the problem is still there, because it looks like some lock-up in the domain itself..

Have you checked the security tab in the settings menu?
btw the entire ESC is pointless if you ask me – when you open website – your prompted to add it to the trusted zone, but then your no longer protected so whats the point of the whole thing?Even when you open new sites you dont know you still have to add them in order to see whats in so..

Thanks for this! Everything worked great on my 2008 64-bit install except the gamesux.dll install – I had to manually do the install on this one. Your app crashed and burned. everything else I tested worked.

Now if only 2008 didn’t have lower FPS in games compared to Vista Ultimate 64-bit 😉

Actually, 2008 have higher FPS than vista x86/64, probably its just your drivers 😉
Maybe someone else should test the gameux patch on x64 and confirm if this is common issue, or its just you.

Has anyone else run into issues with .net errors when enableing wireless?

I noticed this issue too, its fixed in the current version im working on.

Also i uploaded the language file for the upcoming version 1.1 which will be included in the next version, if someone want to make translation, translate it and send it to my email.

It doesnt work on x86 too.Does it work on vista? I checked the game with process monitor and it looks for some missing registry entries so probably this is the reason for the crash.

Do not disable DEP completely – sometimes this is even worse than having it on.Just select DEP for essential windows programs and services only.
If you already disabled DEP completely, you need to enable it again first.
