I have a little problem with the game. I cannot start it using start butting in game menu cause the loop showing characters from game never ends. Instead of this i start the benchmark and when i quit the benchmark the game starts so its really annoying. I made everything u said here to run the game. My spec is winserv 2008 x64 EE, double dual core opterons and gf9600gt. Is there anything else i should do?

The characters video is the loading screen, actually. Its too long probably thats why they made it that way. Maybe something with your save is wrong move it somewhere else until you find whats wrong(by default its located in my documents, i think)

Can you post the exact version of windows server 2008 you are using? So far i tested the retail version of windows server x86/x64 also the versions that can be downloaded from the microsoft website and i was unable to reproduce the bug. Even the SP2 x64 beta is working. I think its something related to the dll file itself and not the way its applied because all the converter is doing is to take ownership of uxtheme.dll,themeui.dll and shsvcs.dll and then copy the new patched files.
Keep in mind that if you use some sort of activation crack this can cause alot of problems of this kind too.
If you ever have problems after the uxtheme patch is applied all you have to do is to rename uxtheme.dll.backup,themeui.dll.backup and shsvcs.dll.backup back to their original names.

Don’t forget the following run command….

    regsvr32 gameux.dll

After the file is copied the program takes care of the rest in this specific scenario.

The path for the x64 version of gameux.dll was wrong and it is fixed in the latest version 1.2
Some user reported this via email and it was fixed on the next day. I prefer to get emails with bug reports because i cant really check the forum every day.

I don’t see how my program can destroy anything and noone reported such problem as far as i know, but JonusC if you have any specific bug reports i will be glad to see them.

Hi, im replying here so more people can see the response. Right now even if you use the command line you still get notifications. Thats because these options are more like a program parameters rather than command line switches, but maybe it is a good idea to remove the notifications from command line and i will make it happen in the next version.

had you guys who were crashing installed the nov 2008 dx redistributable?

curious if simply updating would have stopped the crash instead of copying that dll to game folder?

Yes – the latest version of DX should solve this issue w/o having to copy anything to the game folder.

All you have to do is to start process monitor, in the filter menu you have to select prpcess > is > something.exe
where something.exe is the name of the exe file you are going to monitor. Also, make sure you select include in the add rule menu and you also have to press add so the exe will appear with green color next to it in the list.after you are set up, you can press the magnifier icon and run the application to see whats going on in there.
    hope this helps 🙂

Looks like we have a winner 😛
I was just looking around the DirectX files when i decided to check back the forum and saw your post 🙂
Thats all folks – all you have to do is to copy xinput9_1_0.dll to your game folder.

I think its something related to the sound system – when its initialized the game starts to unload everything and terminates. Its hard to tell exactly what causes the problem, because the game protection wont start the game if process monitor is running so you have to start it right when the cmd window appears so you can gather some data…
I will check for more info later today, but it will be great if someone else have some spare time to check this out too 🙂

    hello sawo

did u made any progress with offline image :)?
its will be on 1.1v or later ?

Yes, but as i said before in the thread, it will be probably included in version 2.0, because i still have work on the current features and the offline image editor will be a major change to the entire app 🙂
