This looks like driver problem to me.Do you have the drivers for everything fully installed?
About your second question – lets just say that its safe enough 🙂Do you have this problem right from the beginning, or it started happening after some time?
Check the power options, probably thats the cause of this problem.

One thing I’d like to see would be the games explorer. Is it possible to extract the files for i.e. Side Bar from the Vista DVD? That way you wouldn’t have to include all the files!
BTW great tool!Unfortunately the games explorer isn’t working correctly yet, thats why i haven’t implemented it into the program.
Ofcourse its possible to extract the files, but if you do it yourself, whats the point of using automated program then 🙂Thanks for the feedback willko! Your idea sounds interesting i will check it out 🙂
Thats strange – even when having full permissions it still gives that error.. I will look into it.
Both of them works, not sure about dscaler on x64 tho..
Welcome to the forums, Jeff! Hopefully we will learn something from your experience too 🙂
First, hi and welcome to the forums 🙂
If your going to use language somehow related to .NET or C i can help 🙂
See you around! What connection do you use? Audio cable from the tuner to the tv card?
If you use it with compatibility mode, it should work.I use even VB6 using this method and it works, but i suggest switching to atleast vs 2005 – you can still use 1.1 as your application base even if you have .net 2.0 installed – just select it from the solution properties.
Does it have the games explorer?
Have you setup the region settings? Also you can try the winamp plugin its alot easier to configure..
by default only 2.0 is installed.
I have X-Fi and 5.1 speakers and the subwoofer is working just fine.Try to set 2.1 in the sound options in control panel, probably now its set to headphones and they dont have subwoofer.
