I probably got it working! 😉
So, I made an installer for it.

    Enjoy! 😉
ps. I found, that some Superfetch files are shared with Windows Search Service, so I don’t included these files in this installer.
Instead of this, I recommend you to install the Windows Search Service (from Server Manager).

OK, I followed the howto and made an installer for it…
The drivers works, the bluetooth icon shows in tray, the applications can communicate over Bluetooth, but sadly, not everything is great…
This installer broke the “Devices and Printers” – after installing, it shows no device icons and Also, adding new device doesn’t work (unknown error with some error code, I can’t find on any website), so Bluetooth device pairing is broken too…
And also, Sending/Receiving files over Bluetooth (fsquirt.exe) doesn’t work too…

If you want to play with it, you can, but i recommend you to try it only in VM (Virtual Machine), not on your primary OS, because it probably can broke your system!
Warning: For ReadyDriverPlus – If you have the boot files on other partition than System partition – C: (Server 2008 R2 by-default install boot files on boot partition, which is other than System partition), you must manually mount the boot partition (from Disc manager MMC) and install ReadyDriverPlus on it instead of System partition (C:)…

In Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Callendar (and other Vista apps) is a part of the Windows Live Essentials pack. 😉

Here is nice howto, for getting Bluetooth (and Nokia PC suite) working in Server 2008 R2!
I’ll take a look on it later. Hope it works…

in reply to: Free Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Product Key #49893

Hm, looks like these are MS Volume Licencing Multiple Activation (MAK) keys…
Don’t know, if it’s legal to redistribute MAK keys this way…

in reply to: Games Explorer #48618

That exe file is not mine. It’s taken from here and don’t worry, there really aren’t any viruses in that file…

    How to enable sleep mode?

I want to use sleep button.

Is it pssible to sleep R2 with hyper-v machines running?

In Srv 2008 (R2), you can use it only from Logon Screen…
Just press CTRL + ALT + DEL and then click the arrow on a shut down button and select “Sleep”… 😉

The not-free Trial of Nero installed fine. Maybe it’s possible to copy the key from the Free installer and use it in the Trial installer to get the non-trial Nero Essentials Edition.
    Hope this works! 🙂

Well, I tried to copy the free key to trial installer. It accepted the key, but after clicking “Install”, the same error appeared… 🙁

    I use this Logon Changer.
Works great (but probably requires .NET too).
ps. There’s also the official way to change R2 (and 7) Logon Screen.

in reply to: Video Thumbnails NOT working for MPG #49562

    Damn…
I reinstalled my system (because I was moving it to new HDD and was too lazy to make a partition/system image) and now, the mpeg thumbnails doesn’t work… 🙁
Hm, looks like, it’s really strange problem…

I got MPG thumbnails working after installing ffdshow rev2832_20090328.

    Thanks for the info mate.

    EDIT:
Just installed that ffdshow revision, but no MPG thumbs, messed about with the ffdshow video settings as well, still no luck.

AsciiWolf, would you mind sharing your ffdshow settings with me?
You can do that via ffdshow and export all settings.

    Thanks

    I have default settings…
I also have VSFilter_20090624 installed and MatroskaSplitter installed…

Today, i tried to install my BT adapter ( trust Ultra Small Bluetooth 2 USB Adapter 10m BT-2400p) on my WS2K8 R2, there are some drivers on the site trust.com that are designed for Windows 7 ( but they definitely don’t work, i agree).
So, i tried the old one, that is developed for vista 64, all the procedure was normal, installation was without any issues, restart and all is ok- no blue screens, no msg-s. After that i try to use device – its work perfect ( i made some file transfers between dongle and my gsm – all is ok by my opinion). Software that i use is from trust – the original one .The driver is the same that i used with windows server 2008 x64.
So for me this problem is solved.
re: so the hint is working for me, but this is only for relation BT dongle – GSM and PDA, i didn’t tried bluetooth keyboard and mouse

Is Bluetooth Control Panel and adding BT device in “Devices and Printers” Control Panel working too?

in reply to: TV Card (BDA Hardware Support) #49652

    Wow, awesome work!
Can’t test it by myself, because I don’t have a TV Card now, but I hope, it helps someone else! 😉
