@Arris, could you host all installers from the tutorial at your server, because from time to time a few of them are no longer available at mirrorcreator.
Unfortunately the images used in the various manuals are already using quite a lot of bandwidth (all 3 manuals + forum in total an average of 90GB/month). If I would host the files on my own server, I would cross the 100GB bandwidth limit in a few days. Therefore I think, although it is less convenient than having direct links, mirrorcreator is a good solution because the files are spread over multiple file hosters so in case it has been removed from one file hosting, you can still download it via another one. Hope you understand! 🙂

May i suggest that you post the picture here, or upload them somewhere, so we all can see them ?
Neowin blocks direct linking to images, here is the full article including the image: http://www.neowin.net/news/windows-8-how-to-re-enable-the-classic-start-menu/
And here you can view the image from MDL: http://i49.tinypic.com/2nn194.jpg
Thanks hoak, interesting! 🙂 Will take a look at it soon :geek:
Wow, the new Microsoft Server Converter is really a great tool! :geek:
Nice to have a light-weight tool now which downloads only the necessary files, and also always the latest versions of these files.
Keep up the good work, ExpertUser & Horsemen team! 🙂

Since it look like you have already gotten this System Restore feature to work in Server 2008 R2, can you please post the URL address of where I can get these instructions and or files from?
Unfortunately I don’t have a backup of the files to reupload them, but the System Restore feature can also be installed via [localurl=viewtopic.php?f=21&t=1924:22n8bljy]ExpertUser's Converter application[/localurl:22n8bljy] (Tab ‘R2Conv3 Packs’ -> Enable SystemRestore)
Good luck! 🙂

Didn’t know such laptops exist but they are really a desktop replacement with their adjustable display. Also, useful list of installation details, that will probably help various people :geek:

If these won’t install, extract them from Windows 7 using the Double Driver tool and try to install these.
After downloading/extracting the drivers, install them manually as described in the manual (Method 2).
If you still can’t install them, paste the message shown in the Device status box shown in the Device Manager (Start -> Run -> devmgmt.msc).
Does any of the following links help you any further? I grabbed them while sniffing using Wireshark while visiting and installing Microsoft Update in a fresh Windows 7 x64 virtual machine.
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=70156
http://beta.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us
http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/vistaoptin.aspx?ln=en-usFurthermore, the following cab is being downloaded, but the content is just an xml file pointint to an other cab file, which goes on and on.
http://download.windowsupdate.com/v9/windowsupdate/redir/muv4wuredir.cabIf those links don’t work, maybe resetting your Internet Explorer browser configuration works: right ALT -> Tools -> Internet Options -> ‘Advanced’ tab -> Reset.
Hope anything of this works…
