Yes, “best appearance” is selected and everything is checked. I did find that the animations work when the game is running under the Administrator account, just not from my user account, so it would seem to be a permission issue somehow.
Does anyone else have this problem?

It’s rights issue, imho… Try to manually run “SystemPropertiesPerformance”…

    Damn, that’s some strange problem…
Did you copy the patched drivers from “inf” folder (from BTW archive) to %SystemRoot%inf ?

    Wow, good job, it works!
So, I made an installer for it. 😉

    Install Games Explorer. 😉

in reply to: Security Software #49237

Well, I uploaded the “old good” version of Security Essentials, compatible with Server 2008 R2.
Unzip it using 7zip and follow readme.txt.

in reply to: Security Software #49236

Also, Security Essentials create some registry entries which cannot be deleted by running regedit.exe under any common user account.
You can delete these files by running regedit using sethc.exe hack.

For uninstalling MS Security Essentials, use the same trick as with Zune.
Also, you probably must manually stop “Antimalware Service” before uninstalling Security Essentials.

    in reply to: SuperFetch #49397

Well, I uploaded a new version. Try it and tell me, if it’s working.
note: It’s important to delete all old superfetch registry entries before applying the new reg file!

    in reply to: SuperFetch #49393

Well, I uploaded a new version of my “superfetch package”, so try it and tell me, if it’s working.

    in reply to: HomeGroup #49604

Try to add “homegrouplistener” to “LocalSystemNetworkRestricted” Multi-SZ string and “homegroupprovider” to “LocalServiceNetworkRestricted” Multi-SZ string in “HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionSvchost”.

Did you install Games Explorer using my installer?

in reply to: netsh routing for Win7 x64 #50378

    I’m interested! 😉

    in reply to: HomeGroup #49602

Well, here’s a new installer. I added all the p2p files and services, but it still doesn’t work… 🙁
