Since Microsoft has not released WS-2010-TP3 yet it´s hard to make any comments…

WS 2016 tp3 is now officially available on TechNet Evaluation Center.

Indeed, what Osman said is confirmed. It is a similar issue with Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB where, due to lack of support for fast ring updates, Modern (Metro) apps and Windows Store are missing altogether. Even Edge is missing, at least in WS tp3 Edge is present. Since on Win 10 editions where the apps are present they can be removed using a Command Prompt line, there may be a way to install them in the same way. Copy paste from Win 10 to WS 2016 is probably possible, but also probably considered piracy. Unfortonatly, basic apps like Calculator are missing, since they were converted to Metro, but 3rd party can be used in most cases to replace them.
Anyway, WS 2016 tp3 seems like some sort Windows 7, or how Windows 7 and WS 2008 r2 would have evolved, if no major changes like Windows 8 as we know it and Metro and Store ever existed. For Win 7 fans, WS 2016 seems like a very good choice now.
On tp2, the gui install option was Minimal Server, not Server with a Gui aka Server Graphical Shell. Interestingly enough, on tp3 the gui install option includes Desktop Experience, it is the opposite. In fact, many of the tweaks we had here since WS 2008 after the install of DE are made automaticly on tp3, the tendency started on tp2 actually. Maybe Microsoft spies on us, that would be something. 😉 And/or maybe they realised there are many students who take a Dreamspark key and use it on laptop. Yet, some things still need to installed, like Fax Server to get Windows Fax and Scan, XPS Viewer, Windows Server Backup, Wireless Lan, Bitlocker etc to get as close as possible to the Windows 10 desktop editions.
