It’s not even possible to install skydrive on this crappy little piece of shi….umm….software, I meant….;)
Actually, to me it doesn’t make a lot of sense anymore to get a server OS like Windows Server 2012 to behave more or less like a workstation OS, especially when it’s as f*****d up as Windows Server 2012 (R2)…
And even if everything works out fine, what do you get in the end?
Just some kind of Windows 8.
But why would anyone want that in the first place?

Yes, thank you i, already know what Skydrive is… - 13th November 2013 at 20:39 #60999Anonymous
I meant what I said: There is neither a skydrive app nor is there a desktop version that you can install on WS2012R2….
Probably due to the fact that it is already preinstalled and implemented in Windows 8.1, it’s not possible to download or install it separately on WS2012R2.
Update:
Ok, I was at least able to get the desktop app to download (by faking a Windows 7 user agent profile). - 16th November 2013 at 23:33 #61000Anonymous
I was looking too for the skydrive app but is not available as a download because it is already built into Windows 8.1

You either have to download the installer elsewhere or make the website think you’re using Windows 7.
In Firefox that’s possible with the user profile switcher.https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/profileswitcher/
