We are using Server2008r2 Datacenter to provide virtual desktops for a company. We are getting constant complaints from users that Outlook 2013 is locking up on them. This commonly happens when switching between Inbox and Calendar.
Hardware: VMWare virtual machine
1 vCPU
2GB RAM
40+GB HDD
Looking at both performance counters, nothing is maxing out (cpu, disk, or RAM). Workstations are fully patched. Same with Office 2013.
We’ve already run VMWare’s OS optimization tool to disable unnecessary services, etc… I’m at the end of my rope. Anyone else run into this problem? Anyone have any ideas to fix it?
