        Hi river1,

        Noticing the 0xC000005 exception, part 9 of the Windows Server 2012 to Workstation manual (Disabling DEP and SEHOP) might help you any further.

          DEP and SEHOP are already disabled.
          Would someone has an iTunes installed on windows 2012 try the option “Playing Audio Using: Windows Audio Session” in Playback Preferences?
          Then restart iTunes. 😀
