No big issue, things like that can be solved by using 3rd party free software.

              It’s for Photoviewer.

For Metro App Photos you need :

              1. Change the owner of the folder C:Program FilesWindowsApps (TrustedInstaller to Administrators) and add the following new permission to = C:Program FilesWindowsApps

              USER: ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES
              Permission: Full Access
Be sure TrustedInstaller and System also both have FULL Access as well.
Be sure you have permissions to inherent.

              2. Copy Windows 10 folders (C:Program FilesWindowsAppsMicrosoft.Windows.Photos_16.1118.10000.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe and Microsoft.Windows.Photos_16.1118.10000.0_neutral_split.language-fr_8wekyb3d8bbwe) and paste them into Win2016

              3. Run Admin Powershell :

              Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “C:Program FilesWindowsAppsMicrosoft.Windows.Photos_16.1118.10000.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbweAppxManifest.xml”

              Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “C:Program FilesWindowsAppsMicrosoft.Windows.Photos_16.1118.10000.0_neutral_split.language-fr_8wekyb3d8bbweAppxManifest.xml”

              4. If dependency error copy the necessary files from windows 10 then :
