Whats up guys. Im thinking of moving on Windows Server 2008 R2 in near future and now im searching for drivers for all my devices. On HP site for my PSC 1613 there are drivers both for Windows Vista 64bit and for Windows 7 64bit. What one will match better for R2 – Windows Vista 64bit drivers or Windows 7 64bit drivers.
Thanks in advance. - 29th October 2009 at 20:52 #49943
As Windows Server 2008 R2 is based on Windows 7, you should try the 7 drivers, if not – then try Vista.

Finally i got my PSC 1613 work in Windows Server 2008 R2 🙂
First of all i forgot to install Desktop Experience feature to enable Windows Image Acquisition (WIA). Without it scanner always failed to install drivers 🙂
Windows 7 x64 drivers aint worked for me. Always getting error about unsupported device 🙁
Windows Vista x64 drivers solved the problem. Now im happy 🙂 Printing, scanning works perfect. - 1st November 2009 at 08:23 #59763
