Hey guys,
Thought I’d post a neat little trick you can do with Aero Peek in Windows 7/Server 2008 R2.
Go to Start, and choose Run. Type in “regedit” without quotes and hit enter. In registry editor, navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerTaskband
On the right hand window pane right click in empty white space and choose New > DWORD (32-bit) Value
Name it MinThumbSizePx
Give it a decimal value of your choosing, for example 500 will show the size of the thumbnail in the preview I have below. My monitor’s resolution is 1600X900. You can make it smaller or larger according to whatever preference you like.
Open command prompt and type in following:
taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
start explorer
This will refresh Windows Explorer to apply changes without needing to restart.
Enjoy!
