This is a brand new install as of today and I’m having what appear to be some strange permission issues. Could be wrong about that though. In any case, when I try to register DLLs I get a message saying
The module “gameux.dll (or whatever DLL I use)” failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified module could not be found.
Which is odd because the file is right there.
And when I try to install Microsoft Secure Download Manager I get:
The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation.
Which is odd because I am an administrator. Anyone know what is going on?
UPDATE: It looks like Visual Studio Redistributables installed improperly as well, probably due to the same issue.
