I develop on a 2008 R2 machine and would like to include it in the Vail (Windows Home Server version 2 beta) backups. I tried installing the connector software the normal way and in various compatibility modes.
I couldn’t get it to install. Has anyone else found a way to install the connector on a this OS?
Thanx,
Fred
It is based on R2’s core so it should work in theory. Have you tried installing the .NET framework 3.5 feature in Server Manager? If not try that and report back with your findings.
I found out how at microsoft connect.
