I recently added a Radeon X1300/X1550 Series graphics card to my computer. If I try to install everything in the installation package named 10-2_legacy_vista32-64_dd_ccc.exe (AMD Catalyst Display Driver v10.2 for Windows 64-bit) downloaded from AMD’s site then when I shutdown WS 2008 R2 I get a BSOD instead of a proper shutdown. Also after installing everything I see the following error when CCC tries to start:
[attachment=0:2ojc6kea]ws 2008 r2 ccc error.png[/attachment:2ojc6kea]After I removed the CCC and left the graphics driver installed the BSODs during shutdown stopped but I would like to have the additional options provided by the CCC. This version of CCC and graphics driver work OK together in Win 7. Any suggestions for how I can install the CCC and not have problems in WS 2008 R2? 🙂
