I would be interested to know if anyone had made progress on this topic.
I have switched my PC from Vista 64 to W2K8, most of the migration went OK and the system is much more responsive than it was before. But … my printer drivers won’t install : “not compatible with this windows version”.
Answer from manufacturer support : “this serie is not supported on Windows Server 2008”. Well, thanks for your help, I had discovered that myself 😛
I am quite sure that Vista 64 drivers would work, but I can’t figure out how to “trick” the OS check made in the drivers “Setup.exe”. I have tried “Microsoft Application Verifier” but as I can’t enter debug mode, no success.
Anyone has a clue ?
