Calendar of Updates is alive again !

The Calendar of Updates-forum is back, which is really good news.
The forum have not been accessible for several weeks, but today i found them on a new URL: Calendar of Updates

They are probably most known for their famous list Installers Hall of Shame (Unwanted add-on).
A list of programs that installs (or try to install) unwanted toolbars and software during installation,
using pre-checked (marked) buttons.

One example from the list is Adobe Flash Player, when updating you will get an “Optional offer”:
“Yes, install the free McAfee Security Scan Plus utility to check the status of my PC security.
It will not modify existing antivirus program or PC settings.”

That list is very useful in helping you avoiding crapware.
As you can see in the list there are a lot of questionable programs….
