Internet Explorer 10 Slow to Start (Sometimes!)

I have a niggling issue with IE10 in Server 2012 and had the same issue with Windows 8 (final) when I ran that a couple of weeks before installing Server 2012.

Most times when the computer is rebooted, cold booted and when woken up from sleep mode IE10 is really slow to start (takes circa 20-30 seconds) then once it gets going it is fine regardless of how often it is stopped and started. Now I’ve tried playing with the Add-ons in IE and disabling GPU acceleration which made no difference.

I’ve also scanned the Event Viewer and that reveals nothing. Has anyone else struck this issue?

BTW Opera and Chrome behave normally and don’t have this problem.
