Hi,
I have just a quick question that I was unable to solve using the website and MS-sites for comparing versions.
Does this tutorial also work with Windows Server 2008 R2 Web Edition or do I have to expect difficulties while setting up the OS as a workstation system?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Regards,
tasm
i use this edition as ws no problem its the same as standard for ws use
Thank you!
Just one thing…Does WLAN work with this edition?
You can enable the WLAN service by installing the “Wireless LAN” feature available in Server Manager.
Optional: In the start search box type in “command prompt”. Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
Type in the following:
servermanagercmd -install wireless-networking
Thanks, it works like a charm.
