Having this problem myself too :S

WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery ServiceWorks pretty fine for me with the above set to “Disabled”.
I would say 400×120 is “max” for a nice signature.
The current ones are 440×160 which is a bit big(ish) if you ask me atleast :l
The height should be reduced atleast if nothing else.(Running 1440×900 here so I wouldn’t say its that)
Only “System Restore” there is on 2008 is the Backup function under Server Manager but I really don’t know how it works so cant help you out with that one.
Give it a try maybe 😉Yea atm I’m using VLC to watch all vids that require WMCodec but I would rather use Media Player Classic but I cannot find a installer for Vista for Windows Media Player or Windows Media Codec.
No enhancements/roles installed.
It’s a non-edited installation too, just done some tweaks from this site.Will try with the Themes -service disabled.
EDIT: The same “Updates were not configured properly, reverting changes…” :S
EDIT2: I’m not after the Themes etc myself, just Windows Media Player (And WMCodec with it).
