Sorry guys for the lack of reply’s to your questions. I Am dropping this tv tuner support, coz am just too busy with my work, and cant reply to your questions.
All the info and batch files you need to get tv working under server r2 are already in this thread.

I registered on this forum just to say a big thank you to shahed26 for the BDA package (MSI).
Surprisingly, in spite of your warnings against analogue in the first post, my KWorld USB Analog TV Stick (PVR-TV 305UDE) now works perfectly in Server 2008 R2 (through HyperMediaCenter, the included application), after installing the msi package.
Thanks again!
Your most welcome mate.
The analog registry entries are already there in this msi, but still missing few registry entries for full analog support.
Anyways glad to hear that your analog is working.
Analog is NOT SUPPORTED
Uninstall dvbviewer and then manually delete the folder CMUV.
“programDataCVUM”
And then re-install dvbviewer
MUST use these directx files. The script installs these files.
Hi
The script I uploaded is for server 2008, but works with R2 as well. You must use windows7 rtm files. This is the script, and good luck guys.
http://rapidshare.com/files/302371345/bdaforserver.7z.htmlAm just going to post my script file here. It will be easier for you guys to set it up. Give me till tomorrow as am really busy with other stuffs.
Sure will post files list sometime on sunday as am very busy with other stuffs now.
By the way all the files I used are from Windows 7 RTM x64, and NOT Vista.
DO NOT use files from vista or else you will have a corrupt BDA error. Use files from Windows 7 RTM x64.
If you can wait till monday, i will create a Multilanguage BDA R2 or maybe have different language versions of BDA R2, so people can download BDA R2 for which ever language they require.
Only works on ENG version.

Hi,
Thanks you verry much for your help so far.
I got orb to see my tv tuner but i couldn’t view any channels on it.Thanks in advance!
What is orb?
If its an tv application (orb) and you can see your tv card there, then its working, just that rob app is no compatible with server.
Try alternative tv viewing apps.
Hi,
If you can see analog and digital, then yes you can also search digital air tv.I dont think its a problem on the video side. VMR9 is installed by server (default, part of Microsofts OS). The video card just renders the picture. No need to buy a new video card for this purpose only.
Just do a clean installer of Server R2. As i mentioned you installed the old server 2008 bda files first, and that is causing all these problems.

DVBdream sees no devices. Is DVB also for analogue?
Do you know how can I install VMR9 on my server? I think that this is the problem why I don’t get a screen. When I get screen and the TVcard works well then I go to a shop to buy a Audio device for PCI-E or PCI-X slot. When my VideoCard is the problem, then I also buy a new video card.
dvbdream also works for analog. You cant install VMR9, its part of microsofts OS. I think there’s something wrong with your system, not sure what though.
Maybe you should do a clean install of server again, and then install my “reg” file and BDA R2.msi file as well.
EDIT: You did mention that you installed “bdaforserver” on first page. I think thats were the conflict is, as you installed vista files onto server R2.
My advice is to do a clean install of server R2, and dont bother with those vista files and my old “bdaforserver” as there only for server 2008 and NOT R2.

Video Renderer: Maybe is this one necessary for the screen View of the TVcard?
Audio: I have no sound card my question is, is this a problem for the Audio on my TV with a NMT. Must my pc then needs a Audio device?
Deskop Experince = installed
Codec pack = installed (K-Lite Codec Pack & Media Player Classic – Home Cinema x64)
I don’t use any software of the WinTV from Hauppauge. Only I have install the drivers of the TVCard from Hauppauge. WinTV is not installed. I use GBPVR and the TuningAssistant.exe who belongs to GBPVR.
Video Renderer is the most important bit to view picture. Without audio card, you will not get sound, simple. and regards GBPVR, i doubt its fully compatible with server. All tv apps are not compatible with server, speacially these media centre software.
Try installing dvbdream http://www.dvbdream.org/
