I have 2 SkyStar 2 PCI cards in a MediaPortal Server. This was running successfully under Windows Server 2003 R2 (32-bit). I now want to upgrade to Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit). I have installed the OS, and 64-bit BDA drivers from the Technisat site without visible error. I also installed your BDA s/w. No card is recognised, and MediaPortal reports:
2010-08-15 20:05:01.615420 [TVService(5)]: DVBT card detection error: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040154): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {C6B14B32-76AA-4A86-A7AC-5C79AAF58DA7} failed due to the following error: 80040154.

at TvLibrary.Implementations.TvCardCollection.DetectCards()There is no such id {C6…} in the registry, though there was for the WS03 version.
I also applied (perhaps wrongly) the MP dvbfix for XP before trying your s/w:
%windir%system32regsvr32 /u mpeg2data.ax
%windir%system32regsvr32 /u psisdecd.dll
%windir%system32regsvr32 /u psisrndr.ax
%windir%system32regsvr32 “%~dp0mpeg2data.ax
%windir%system32regsvr32 “%~dp0psisdecd.dll
%windir%system32regsvr32 “%~dp0psisrndr.ax
I now worry that all those regsvr32’s may be wrong for a 64-bit OS?Any idea how to proceed? I could reinstall Windows (again!) if necessary.
