Hey Guys,

I have been following this topic. I own MSI Star Key 2.0, and it is working extremely bad.I bought this dongle over 2 years ago, and it used to work well with Vista. When i installed the Bluetooth stack driver from here[great work btw, thank you!], it did install. But whenever i pair a device, it would work for a few seconds [very laggy], and lose the connection. My mouse [Razer Orochi], would work right next to it fine, but as soon as i move it out a bit, it gets laggy and drops out..Same thing with my diNovo Edge keyboard.. I am not quite sure what chipset it carries but i think it is not broadcom. And MSI has dropped the support for this device around Vista times.. Their site is pretty outdated for this device.

What is a good replacement, which would work fine with 2k8R2 ? I am leaning toward Class 1 device.

Hello Arris,

I have just recently noticed that my DVI->HDMI adapter was the issue. It seems so that, there were lots of pins missing. I would think that, it is compatible with video and not audio.. I have replaced it, and problem went away :). Thank you for your response.
