21st September 2009 at 04:39 in reply to: Windows Server 2008 R2 Aero Themes not being enabled? #48952
The issue has been resolved. It seems that something went wrong with the driver installation either through a Windows Update or manual installation. Reinstalling the Nvidia Drivers resolved the problem and I am not able to run Windows Aero.
Well, reinstalling the latest NVidia drivers seemed to allow Aero to make it work.
This has already been done. I installed Desktop Experience and have the Themes Service running.
Attached is a screen shot of the error message code and everything that is installed to have this needed to run.
Yeah, I have capable hardware installed to use the Aero theme. I have the Themes service started. I can see the Aero theme if I go to C:WindowsResources and if I double click it to open, it will say “The theme cannot be applied to the desktop. Click Okay”
I have this same issue aswell, link here. Any ideas would be awesome, because I can’t seem to get the software to work on my Windows XP Pro machine while having my music on the Server itself. 🙁
Alright, well, for about the better half of the day, I have tried installing Zune 3.0.
I have tried looking through a HexEditor Program, Tried this and tried this. Nothing seems to have worked so far. Could anyone help me out? Thanks!
Once I get it installed, it crashes and says it has stopped responding anyways. When I try to debug, it crashes again.
