This fix worked for me as well. I have 2008 64-bit and a X1600 card. I installed the current 9.2 drivers and had the same CCC problem. Followed the quick steps above and wham!! it worked. CCC is running just fine. Very easy – thanks!!!

I tried the 64-bit version of Dreamescene and it is working. Very nice and almost no resources!!
