I had the card working fine, but since a few weeks I’m unable to scan for channels. Windows and the software do recognize the card and it seems to function properly, but it can’t find any channels.
I tried different software, all with the same problem. The card is working, because I tried it on a Windows 7-machine yesterday and it found all channels right away.
I installed:
1. Windows Server 2008R2 x64
2. DirectX 9c
3. Desktop Experience
4. BDA_R2_TV_Card.msi
6. bdaforserver (with the drivers from a Windows 7-machine)Does anyone have any idea of what could be wrong? Are the codecs necessary for scanning for channels?
I’m trying to get my Terratec Cinergy C HD PCI to work on Windows 2008 R2. I installed the drivers using the ones installed on a Windows 7-machine and Windows recognized the card.
But when trying to view the channels (I’m trying to run DVBLink Server) I get the error that it’s unable to initialize the hardware. After that error, I installed some BDA-drivers and with a registry-hack (copy/paste some keys) I managed to get the BDA Source Filters in graphedit, but unfortunately that didn’t help. I still got the error.
Do I need to use the dbaforserver-batch file? Or is it just because I’m using the server through RDP?
