x64 Guitar Hero 3 won’t install

I’m trying to get Guitar Hero 3 to install, and it all seems like it’s going fine, but once the installer is about to finish, it suddenly errors out saying “The wizard was interrupted before Guitar Hero III could be completely installed.”

I’ve tried compatibility mode on the installer, but that didn’t change at all. I also looked around the net to see if anyone else was having this issue, and it wasn’t Server 08 specific, but all I found were people who had incorrectly uninstalled the game and tried to install it again having this issue, which is not my case since this is a fresh install of Server 08.

Anyone have any ideas?

Guitar Hero 3 installed without problem on my computer… However after I installed the 1.2 patch it wouldn’t start until I installed wireless networking.

I didn’t get any error messages in the installation though.
