I recently made the switch to Server 2008 on my laptop but I can’t seem to get wireless networking to work. I enabled wireless LAN service through the server manager, and installed the drivers from HP found here but it still will not recognize the wireless card.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Also would either Server 2003 or 2008 work under Apple’s BootCamp?
Are you sure you have installed the drivers for the right architecture of Windows Server 2008? If you are using Windows Server 2008 x64 you have to use the 64bit Vista Drivers from the HP Support website.
Do you see the device installed in the Device Manager (Start -> Run -> devmgmt.msc) or do you still see a question mark or exclamation mark beside the wireless card? In these cases try to force to install the driver using the steps described in step 3b of Method 2 at the Drivers page in the manual.
