Windows update

When i try to update many updates fail and give me a error after restarting : ” Failure configureing updates, rolling back”

or it error in windows with failed to install updates?

What’s up with this? I’m running legal Win S2012 S, any method i could fix this?

Hi runeazn,

You can take a look at %SystemRoot%WindowsUpdate.log, maybe that will give you any clues.

Another possibility is to reset the Windows Update components. This can be done by a tool which is available for Windows 8 but I think will also work on Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058/
