Windows To Go (Wikipedia article here) seems to be one of Windows 8’s more interesting features; those that have tested it (on USB 2.0) said it was surprisingly fast… Though hardly a high priority or value feature, it is interesting, and a Windows To Go based on Server 2012’s lighter build might have some cool applications; like if could you build a USB Windows Server 2012 Core To Go, and run it as a game server off USB this has some unique utility (with some obvious through-put limitations), or tiny fall-back servers etc… As of now it’s Windows 8 Enterprise only feature/tool, but this could be a fun one to explore for the ‘tomorrow file‘…
