Hi,
We put together an $OEM$ Pack for Windows Server 2012 R2 to get it to a Workstation OS.
Basically it works like the $OEM$ Packs that we released for Windows Server 2008 R2.
Some changes were necessary and we managed to get it working properly.
We added themes to it, as you know Server Editions do not come with nice wallpaper.
Please feel free to post feedback and requests.
What does it do your Server 2012 R2 release :
-> Enabled Windows Audio
-> Enabled .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
-> Enabled Desktop Experience
-> Enabled Themes
-> Enabled Audio
-> Enabled Wireless Networking
-> Enabled Server Backup-> Disabled IE Enhanced Security Configuration
-> Disabled Complex Password
-> Disabled Password Expiration
-> Disabled CTRL+ALT+DEL at Start up
-> Disabled Shutdown Event Tracker-> Set Performance to Programs
-> Added DirectX Jun2010 Redist
-> NOT INCLUDED : MICROSOFT SERVER CONVERTER.
This packs works also on Server 2012.

The difference between the 2 versions?
[attachment=0:331mcdh3]2 versions.jpg[/attachment:331mcdh3]Is this meant to be used instead of
MICROSOFT SERVER CONVERTER 2012 R2
or along with it?
Thanks - 11th February 2014 at 18:04 #60824Anonymous

ThanksThe difference between the folders is that one is for real testing and the other for Vmware since I added tools to folder.
Those folders are to be used along with MSC.

Ah, Vmware Tools already in there, nice.
So if we have WS2012R2 installed in a Vmware Player VM, then do we just run this ISO from that VM’s ROM drive? Or do we extract the ISO and copy ‘ paste somewhere?

ThanksYou just need to install the OS in a Vmware 10 machine and in post install VM Tools will be automatically installed.
