Actually gotta say it works great!
I have an IP wireless D-Link Cam and a new USB Envision V-Cam and set up WebCamXP http://webcamxp.com/home.aspx
Now I will be able to log in and keep an eye on things or set up an auto email on movement.
If you use such things go to your firewall and add an exception for the port you will use for the webserver or maybe for the APP so it will trigger the audio port as well.
