Hi,
has anyone been able to apply this fix for server 2008:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933872
Is there a fix for server 2008 because i’m definitely encountering the problem described in the kb.

I’m not aware of a fix for Windows Server 2008 but you can try to install KB933872 manually by extracting the Windows6.0-KB933872-x64.msu file using for example WinRAR or 7-Zip and then extracting the Windows6.0-KB933872-x64.cab file using the following command:
expand -F:* Windows6.0-KB933872-x64.cab outputfolder
Look up the files in your Windows directory and replace them (in safe mode/via a bootcd) by the ones in the package. Be sure you make a backup, because it might not work!
I hope this works. Good luck! 🙂
