› Forums › Operating Systems › Windows Server 2008 › Miscellaneous › Speech Recognition: what am I missing?
Hi,
I copied everything from windows/speech and windows/system32/speech (tried both with Vista and Windows 7 files … which by the way are exactly the same byte per bye except for creation date)
I then ran the Windows2008Workstation Converter’s tool for “activating speech recognition”
However, in the Speech Recognition settings page, I am still warned that “A recognition engine can not be created”.
Am I missing something?
Thanks
r.
Did you try any of the following steps?
They are workarounds for 2008; maybe they could work for R2, too! 😉
