Hi, this is my first post and i would like to say bravo to you all at win2008workstation.com.
A question come to my mind recently:
Did someone already tried to install Server 2008 Core Edition with an alternative shell (like bblean for example)?
I hear about a tool with a basic GUI (h**p://bink.nu/news/cool-windows-server-core-coreconfigurator-gui.aspx)
to configure without the command line.
Is it possible to do this?
(Sorry for my poor english : i’m a french speaking guy)
Hello bcase, welcome on the Win2008Workstation.com forums! 😉
I must confess I haven’t looked at the Core Edition of Windows Server 2008 at all! If you want the experiment with an OS, I think the best way to do that is to install it in a Virtual Machine and do whatever you want with it. 🙂
OK, thanks for your reply 😉
