R2 SP1 WORKSTATION “RED SENSATION” – REVISED
aka “The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse Project”
My buddies Secr9tos and Fibonacci are busy working on R2ConvGUI 3 “The Application”, so I decided to make this release to get myself acquainted with release customization…. :coo:
This is my first real modded release of Windows Server 2008 R2.
I must admit that it is lots of work and I am not sure the result is as good as what’s produced on here from Neuro, Buster, IiTz ShAnEβ’ or any other member of this community.
All feedback is welcome. :ha:
I also would like to add that I only “put the release together”, all credits go to the people who spent hours on making icons, wallpapers, themes,…..
Changelog 13/08/11 :I fixed explorer.exe version and changed logon screen to more colorful one.

All depends what you are running it on, VM or real PC ?
Please check if your video driver is correctly installed if real PC.
If VMware please make sure you enable 3D Graphics Acceleration in the settings of the VM and install VMware tools.

I have not found yet the “perfect” iconset for a great R2 Release for here.
All suggestions are welcome for iconsets, please PM me links if you wish.
TY for the feedback.

If i understand well you are not able to install Server 2008 R2 on a mobo with dual CPU ?
Please check here :

There seems to be no limitations.

Dear, tell me pliz – I can not install the drivers from the motherboard on this axis. Mother ASUS P8H67-V.
When you run the EXE swears by the operating system version.
What to do? - 13th August 2011 at 10:18 #51881

What to do?Simple !
If the drivers are in a “mydrivers_xxxxx.exe” file (ex Realtek, ATI, NVIDIA,…..) then use 7zip to extract them to a folder and use device manager to update your hardware drivers
I do that for ATI drivers and Nvidia sometimes.
I have a ASUS mobo and I have a CD with it and all drivers are in a folder, so then use update drivers directly from device manager.

I’ve already started downloading the June Edition with Bit Torrent so I’ll also look at this seems to have Nightly me likey. I’ve always liked checking out new stuff since to be honest I thought your AIO for 7 sp1 and R2 was awesome since I’m still using that.

TY Dark π
I have not made any AIO’s lately, I am more concentrated on getting a suntan and enjoying summer down here…….. π π
When winter is back I’ll back to do some AIO’s……
J/K.
Let me know how you like this Red Sensation as I am not really into custom releases made this way with icon modding.
Take care,

Hi !
The answer is yes !
It’s possible to revert back by replacing the modded files with the original ones (there are lots……) or just by typing in a CMD window in Admin mode sfc /scannow and it will replace all modded files with original ones. You’ll need to patch uxtheme again should you wish to use modded themes.
If it looked so childish why did you donwload and install it in the first time ? π π π π
There is a regular release on Forum too, the June Edition, which has regular icons………

Poser appeared appeared small.
After installing Heper-V back the old “Welcome Screen”, this is where to log on or when changing the user asks Login / Password. Often it is necessary to use the “Change of User” and I would like to establish “Welcome Screen” in Windows 7, with a list of users in the form of menus. - 11th October 2011 at 12:09 #51890

There are lots around and I also wish to say that this one required lots of work as icons were added manually to dll files.
Please take a look on http://www.tweakscene.com
You’ll find all you need.

I find it very odd that first you ask for the download yourself,
then a few months later you have “found it on a old computer”.Which of course makes me wonder what “your” file contains…
And what is wrong with the link in the first post ?
Does it not work anymore ?I removed your post.
I donΒ΄t have time to check any downloads at the moment, but i will take a look at this later.NOTE: DO NOT POST A LINK TO THAT FILE AGAIN !
