Uninstall it, run Maintenence in Control Panel, then reboot. After Disk Cleanup, run a trustworthy registry cleaner, like the one build-in TuneUp Utilities. Then reinstall the Mail app. Maybe this will work.

Ccleaner is better because it got the job done and is free.
TuneUp is better, but it is only a trial.
i think i will stick with c cleaner…tune up utilities comes with a whole barrage of excess baggage i do not really need & of course c cleaner has a totally free version!!!
