Is Server 2008 Web Edition good enough ?

Hi,

I read your article(s) about converting the Server 2008 to a Workstation OS. My question is (cause of cost), if I can use the Server 2008 Web Edition to build a Workstation ? Or will I have to buy a Standard Edition at least ?

Okay, bought !
Web Server 2008 is working excellent as Vista replacement, Aero Desktop is the only feature I need to install for a good feeling :p

check it out its will help u to decide what is best for u

the main things its missing is qwave a sound and video acc’ and windows search
