Hi folks,
I read in the news today that MS have made their Hyper-V Server available for download free of charge, with no time limit.
Do you think it would be possible to get a full-fledged “desktop experience” out of this? The 240-day time limit on the standard server evaluation version sucks, and I can’t really afford to actually buy it.
I’ll probably tinker around with it later…
That’s nice, but I just looked at the Hyper-V Server 2008 Website and the different server versions, but it says that for Hyper-V Server there is no Local Graphical User Interface available, so I don’t think it will be easy to use it as a Desktop Workstation.
