how to configure USB capture card from ROXIO EASY VHS TO DVD

just a quick question 🙂
when i use premodded r2 version, the usb video capture stick shows up correctly and has options when i try to capture video: composite or svhs

however, when i use unmodded image, those options do not work, and even though the driver is loaded in device manager, composite or svhs options do not show up, and the stick is unusable

so something has to be done, can you point me to exact solution? 🙂
