I’m a recent convert to workstation 2008 having read this article http://weblog.infoworld.com/enterprisedesktop/archives/2008/07/workstation_200.html. I’ve been up and running for a week, and I’m simply amazed!
My computers not exactly shabby Duo E6850 3.0Ghz/Antec p180b/Nvida N650SLi-NS4/4Gb Ram/2Tb over 4 disks/Nvidia BFG Tech 9800GTX – but the difference is astonishing particularly in windows explorer.
Only problems so far are getting anti-virus, drivers for the TV card and getting command and conquer 3 to install properly.
