Does anyone have the same problem in Windows Server 2012? I have a laptop Acer and never have this problem before until I installed Windows Server 2012. The HDD light hard drive activity is on all the time, the light stays on at the moment windows start booting until I shutdown the computer. I Updated the drivers and nothing resolve this.
