I installed Server 2008 to allow network printing functionallity (wouldn’t work when I had Vista installed). Now I can share my printers but I can’t get the driver for the printer to install. Gives some crazy error I want to look into – maybe it’s solved on the forums here. Also can’t get the scanner to work.
Anyway thanks for the great page showing how to turn server into a more workstation friendly system!

Your scanner should install after installing the Desktop Experience Feature; the printer should work without any problems, so try to install the drivers manually.
