“Gameport” support has been discontinued as of Windows Vista and only works as a MIDI port (albeit probably not very well). Sorry. If this is a joystick/gamepad thing, you’re going to have to get a new one. Technically, they don’t work and never will but apparently some have gotten it to “appear” to work. The Creative Driver for the Game Port is loaded and is working, but I don’t see any option for configuring the game controller attached to the game port in the control panel applet (installed using the Win2008 forum instructions).
