      “Gameport” support has been discontinued as of Windows Vista and only works as a MIDI port (albeit probably not very well). Sorry. If this is a joystick/gamepad thing, you’re going to have to get a new one. Technically, they don’t work and never will but apparently some have gotten it to “appear” to work. After a quick google I found the following threads…

      Do game ports work on Windows 2008?
      How about on Vista 64-bit in general?
      The Creative Driver for the Game Port is loaded and is working, but I don’t see any option for configuring the game controller attached to the game port in the control panel applet (installed using the Win2008 forum instructions).
