Has anyone tried any games or 3D apps on Server 2012? Do we have to install a DirectX Redistributable as with Server 2008R2? I was a bit surprised to see some games and benchmarks on Windows 8 to under-perform Windows 7 substantially in some regards — anyone have a sense of how well Games and 3D apps run on the Server iteration of NT 6.2?
