Until NOD32 version 8 we could edit the installation .msi file to allow the installation of NOD32 home on a server OS.
With version 9 ESET has changed to using .exe installation files. Thus this trick is no longer possible. Is there a work around to allow version 9 to be installed on a server OS?
I’ve tried both methods, but neither of them work 🙁
It still gives the incompatible OS error.
Have you checked the exe-file ?
Open it with fx. 7-zip, and take a look “inside”…
fx. look at the procedure for installing Comodo Internet Security.
The exe-file contains several msi-files, one of them needs to be extracted,
and then “fixed” with Orca, before installation.
You might find something useful “inside”… 😉
