Hey all
Previously in WinXP I could visit my c:windows dir and see lots of compressed directories of previous MS updates. They could be removed if I didn’t plan on uninstalling them. I don’t see this in Win2008, is there anything similar? Thanks
The Windows Update files in Vista/Server 2008 don’t use that much space, but if you really want to clean them up, the following page will probably help you:
Trouble Fixers: How to remove downloaded but not yet installed windows update files.
Thanks Arris, much appreciated.
